Fiona Woods’ publication One Kind and Another is the outcome of her episodic collaborative practice collection of minds. This practice asserts the artist’s embededdness within and reliance upon social, geographical, and conceptual networks.
Yes she shot the book! Clean through. Fiona wanted the book to have a certain violence reflecting her thoughts on the project. The bullet hole punching through the pages is in contrast to the quite design. The dust-jacket was printed separately and added after the shooting.
